(no subject)
Nothing much interesting going on here, just organizing and packing for the big move (which I'm still trying not to think about too much yet...).
Tomorrow, my parents and I are off to San Jose for the weekend. We are attending a family wedding on Saturday (fourth wedding in the past year! Over the past 18 months, we've had our own version of "Four Weddings and A Funeral"...). Yes, my cousin is getting married on Harry Potter day. (And guess where my book will be? Delivered to my doorstep back home. My parents are not sympathetic. T_T) The wedding is going to be after hours at the San Francisco Zoo, though, so it should be fun. The pavilion where the ceremony is taking place is right next to the African savanna exhibit, so we might hopefully get to see some zebras and gazelles or something.
I am henceforth avoiding the internet until I've finished HP7 (having narrowly avoided a spoiler on an LJ comm), although I probably won't be near the internet much anyway while I'm in San Jose. But we'll be getting back Sunday evening, and then I shall be lost in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows until at least Tuesday morning.
So, to my fellow HP fans, enjoy reading Deathly Hallows ("enjoy" being used very loosely, since we can expect much death and sadness and tears...) and here's hoping you manage to avoid the spoilers! (And much pain to the spoiler trolls! Grrr.) And if you're not a Harry Potter fan (and I do love you anyway...maybe XD), have a nice non-HP weekend! :)
