i voted for bush. i went with the lesser of two evils. i didnt trust kerry at all. empty promises. he contradicted everything he said. and im going to stop here because i flippin hate talking about politics.
anyway, about the same sex marriages. (and im not speaking for myself bc im against the ban like you are) i think that in order to make both sides happy, let gays get married and have the same exact privileges but just dont call it a "marriage." i dont understand why people argue over this. the answer seems so simple. in order to keep the traditional people happy, dont allow it to be called a traditional marriage. and in order for gay people to have the same rights, allow them to get married and have the same benifits as married couples do and allow it to be recognized by the state, but just flippin call it something else. jesus. seems so simple. and if both sides arent happy with it, then this country is fucked. because people have to respect others opinions and just compromise.
this country is based heavily on tradition. and some people love it and the other half want to change it. and you cant have it both ways. so find a way to agree in the middle.
and im sick of hearing/reading about people wanting to leave the country. its absolutely terrible. first of all, no one is going to follow through with it. and second of all, it makes them look like brats who didnt get their way. im sorry, but your opinion IS NOT fact.

The ironic part of this is - in My Opinion - most artists (not all) tend to sway toward the left - if they all left for Europe - what kind of a boring place would this be.......

Lets put all the negros in the back of the bus,
They can still ride the bus,
But lets just put them in their place.
