Toilets are Assholes & Some progress paintings.
Yesterday I went to Lowe's. To buy stuff for my house.
(refinishing some tables, and needed some house painting stuff)
Last night around 3:00-4:00am...my toilet broke.
It couldn't break during the day...or the day before....so I could get the stuff I needed to fix it, while I was at Lowe's.....Nooooo, it wanted to wait until the wee hours of the morning when I had, had about 20 mins of sleep...to break.
What an asshole!
Luckily, in my 18 years of being an army wife, the one skill I've totally mastered is "toilet fixin' and my toilet is now in proper working order.

2 of these paintings are being complete bitches...one is going ok, and one is trying to figure out what the hell it's going to do.
These are some of the little paintings I work on while, waiting for layers on the other paintings to dry...or if I get some wild hair up my ass, and have to paint an idea out...RIGHT NOW.
(those bottles are there for "reference only"...haha!...oh, and the same goes for that empty bag of cookies)
Ok, so some of you know that I just signed up for Facebook...and I don't like it. lol.
I think I will just use it to keep in touch with people...since I guess that's what your supposed to do with it?
I'll still keep LJ...because I *know* how to use LJ and...it's always been good for me.
I'll never get a twitter account...annoys the hell out of me.
I do have a myspace...have never updated or added anything to it, lol.
So, LJ it is. Most of the people that have been tuning in here to my LJ over the years, have nothing to worry about, this will still be my primary bloggy thingie.
This is the song I listen to when I'm in a really pissy mood....and brooding over paintings that wont behave, dogs that are dragging mud into my house, toilets that break in the middle of the night, husbands that snore, cats that hog the bed...and what ever trivial, and lame related shit.... that is bothering me.

Seriously, I don't have anything to *really* complain about in my life....but I still get rather pissy...and this song makes me feel better...even if it's not PC, but it is a pretty honest song...love the parts about "people driving their cars"...and "rich friends" haha!
Off to the bathtub...for some chillin' time and some reading. I did find a good book, actually one I forgot about that was just released and is one of my favorite series of books to read.
