I really like calling the paintings "Untitled".
Makes this whole art thing easier.

Arty-Farty Stuff...
That painting of the boy, was one of those "very good ones" that just flowed right on out.
The process for that type of painting is awesome. I really, REALLY enjoy it.
Most of the time they will come out with a emotional/darker side to them.
Which usually get me emails saying things like
"That scares the shit outta me"
Hahaha!!!
I think I'm going to do more of these.
You know, let the 'crazy' out just a bit beyond it's usual boundries. ;-)
That is always when I'm the most satisfied with the outcome.
I have a ton of drawings I did over the last few months.
These are drawings done, simply for the purpose of creating.
They are all very similar in form.
I do them on cheap card stock, with a Sharpie (the best art tool EVER!)
I do them like that on purpose...so I don't ever feel the need to sell/whore them out.
Well, after going over some, I think I'm going to at least do some 'products' with those drawings on them.
I'm a bit apprehensive about it, since these are the only thing I create, that is NOT meant to sell.
Once the whoring starts, the whole perspective of doing the art seems to change.
The "doing it for yourself" part. Changes to thinking about marketing, selling, rights, reproduction...blah blah blah...
As I'm sure most of you already know.
So yeah, I'm going to really think about this, because if this part becomes like the "other" art, then what will I have left, just for me to enjoy. Simply for the purpose of creating it?
Anyways, Hope you all are doing well, enjoying your long week-end, and eating pie.
(like I'm going to do right now!)
