I have not arted in any way, shape or form since last Monday.
Gasp!!
But here is a sneak peek, of a painting I finished last week or two ago.

So... what have I been doing?...

I've been up to my ear balls (yes, ear balls) in office junk.
Like...going through the last 137 years of paperwork we've accumulated. Sorting it all out, and filing it away.
Nice and proper.
Keep in mind, that the man has been an army dude for 136 of those years, and the army is pretty fanatical when it comes to having "necessary paperwork".
Most of it, got tossed out this weekend. (Finally!) cuz, he won't need it anymore.

Next came the task of sorting through the so called 'junk drawers', we had 3-4 of them and I couldn't even identify half the stuff in there, or come up with any good reason why we had to keep said 'junk'...so bua-bye it went.

I rounded out the end of the weekend by finishing the removal of the horrid, blue and white stripped wall paper, that had been painted over, by one of the former owners of this house. Why in the hell they painted over it is beyond me.
Then came the ripping of the chair rail off the friggin wall, and lots of spackling, because the hammer "accidentally" got carried away and put a huge hole in the wall.

My plan was to paint the office a deep red colour, but upon removing the wall paper I discovered, that this room was once red.
A cheap, tacky, and rather trashy, bright red.
Now, I'm thinking twice about the red.
Even though my red would be way more better then this crap.

The room isn't that big, only 10'x12', but it's bright, and has a big window in it.
It would look fantastic black!
But, the guy that lives here with me, isn't all that keen on having a black room.
It was once, trashy red, with blue/white stripped wallpaper, then changed to this weird green color (it makes me think of Martha Stewart)with the bottom half, white. Because that's the color they chose to paint over the wall paper. Whatever.

So, now I'm sitting in my office, with all the furniture shoved to the middle of the room, with spackled walls drying...still debating on what color to paint it.

I know this was a boring entry, and I'm over tired, and babbling beyond the usual babble limit.
Forgive me, and make sure you go take a peek at the pretty paint'un.
Hope all is well, with all of you.
