So I do this thing every year where I try to cram as many pilots in as possible ... good and bad TV - it's not quality as much as quantity for my TV watching in Sept/Oct - which makes for a lot of losing faith in TV ... but it also makes for a fair bit of omg omg omg how did I live without this!
So the first pilot of the season is apparently REVOLUTION
I admit this is a show I have been looking forward to see! It has JJ Abrams and Eric Kripke, producers/writers/creators I have enjoyed immensely in the past, and the description read a fair bit like Jericho which I totally love!
The pilot was awesome and I'm really looking forward to where it's gonna go. I like the tone that was set with the blackout and the set-up where it is obvious something is wrong and you totally get a what is going on exactly. It might seem a bit predictable with the oh this whole thing is a conspiracy and the family thing and the bad guy knew/knows the good guys but I'm hanging around for season 1 that's for sure.
I'm especially intrigued about the Monroe thing, Nate (what was up with that guy?!) and of course I am always such a sucker for conspiracies.
Other shows I already know now I am definitely trying out (and not just is watching cause well there was a link on eztv): The Mindy Project, Emily Owens MD, Beauty and the Beast, Arrow, Elementary (need to see what this is!) ... and probably more I don't remember right now...
