Bart disapproves.

Never has this icon be more appropriate. -_-x
Surely Bart would disapprove to have the Teen Titans take over his team.

This could have been a great roster for a team, had they just done it right. Young Justice are not the Teen Titans. They have entirely different issues to go through (though similar ones as well, of course) and obviously they got other members.

I don't know who that Robin character is, but he's not Dick (though that's what they're selling him as). It isn't Tim or Jason either. That guy has a lot of characteristics one would expect in Dick or maybe even Jason, personality-wise (the laughter, the banter, the grin-not-a-smile), and skills one would expect in Tim most of all, namely the hacking. He's too cheerful for Tim, too fixated on what-Batman-taught-me for Jason and not enough of a team player for Dick. He is however a lot like the kind of Robin DC likes to put in their cartoons, apparently the kind of Robin the audience is expected to like. He does show the beginnings of a good strategist though, which was always what I loved about Tim (and Dick as well). It's what always made Robin the leader of the team (despite his lack of super powers).
Except this Robin isn't the leader.

Aqualad is. Frickin Aqualad, the only all new character that hasn't existed anywhere else in this form. He's cool. He's clever, level-headed and strong. He knows how to use his powers and how to treat his team members so they can function as a team.
Part of me likes him, and another part hates him. He's too perfect.

Wally aka Kid Flash is sweet. A mouth faster than his brain, feet even faster than that, enough experience to be reckless and not enough of it to get through with it. Well done.
At least they didn't try to turn him into Impulse.

Superboy is cool so far. Cloned by Cadmus out of Superman's DNA (dunno yet if Luthor's in there as well) he hates to be under mind control (cuz that's how he started out), is unhappy with his powers where they're not even with Superman's but is otherwise very willing to do good. When he's down or something, Aqualad seems to always be able to get through to him somehow.
One more reason to dislike Aqualad by the way; I used to really like the dynamic between Kon and Tim (also Bart).

Then they needed a girl but couldn't get Wondergirl at first due to legal issues, so they randomly threw Miss Martian in there. Seriously, it went like: "btw this is Miss Martian, she'll be part of your team, kthxbye". o_Ôx To say I don't like her is putting it mildly.

So that's the team, with their own hide out and Red Tornado for a baby sitter super visor and Batman to give them missions every now and then. Hurray. Not. -_-x Heavens, why not just make it an actual Young Justice show with Tim and Bart and all those characters people loved to death (...) in the comics!?

Anyway. Anymation is awesome. I love how they do the eyes, with thick black lines, like eye liner. XD Is it just me or did they give Barry the same voice actor like Wally!Flash in JLU (Michael Rosenbaum)? Weird. I also don't like Bruce Greenwood as Batman as well as Kevin Conroy (who's been Batman's voice actor for, like, forever!). They use the same guy (Nolan North) for Superboy and Superman, which is an interesting idea, but I kinda always liked George Newbern from the Justice League line up. Plus, North did Cybord on Teen Titans Go, that's just weird.

So, yeah, that's what I think after 3 episodes. I'm gonna watch 4 and 5 as well, seeing how I already got the episodes here, but I'm not sure I'm gonna keep watching it. I'm a big fan of Robin (especially Tim and Dick, but also Jason) and I'm not particularly fond of that Robin, especially if he doesn't get to be team leader. What's he gonna be, the hacker? =(
