A Private Hunger (by Sean Michael)
Do you like porn with a touch of story? Then this is the ebook for you. Do you like and actual story in which sex matters but isn't its one purpose? Right, I think you know where I'm going. Plot: Drakon is a dragon with a human form, Matthew is his marked pet. Matthew is a little freaked out by the strong claim Drakon appears to have on him, but falls in love with the rich guy who makes him live in his remote uber awesome mansion. Between having sex right and left Matt discovers that Drakon eats humans. But hey, love conquers all, right? However the fun ends for Matt when Drakon won't let him out of his eyes long enough to go out dancing. That little drama gets resolved though when Matt comes to terms with the fact that he might not be perfectly happy, but happy enough because he loves Drakon. The end.
Exactly: WTF? 129 pages of smut and the one interesting plot point gets completely ignored. I was very tempted to skip a few of the sex scenes that weren't even innovative, at all. Oh, they tried a plug once, the play lasted a page or two. No, seriously, not worth the money. You can find pointless smut like this anywhere on the internet, no need to spend money on it. Pity, I usually like the author.
Love in G Minor (by Sean Michael)
Meet Jack and Stephen, two very open minded lovers who like to play with others on occasion. At a restaurant they meet the cute and innocent waiter Benji and decide to play with/corrupt him a little. The poor thing's even a virgin. Er, was, past tense now. They are kind if a little cheeky and when Stephen finds that he doesn't feel like taking additional lovers to their bed they let him down easily. Benji then finds out that a collegue of him always had the hots for him and that's it, happy ends all around.
In between Jack and Stephen have a beautiful and playful fight for control going, very sweet and a little kinky, but just mild stuff. To sum it up: worth buying, entertaining, but nothing deep. Make a cup of tea and spend a little time in front of your computer, reading a relaxing, smexy story.
Okay, on to other stuff! I was browsing
Chris Owen's web site (you remember him as one of the authors of the deviations series, right?) and found a section with reading material. Among that the first
contract of Tobias and Noah (I had wanted to read that SO. BADLY) and parts of Noah's journal (under sneak peeks) that wasn't part of the actual novels, the latter written by Jodi Payne. I'm so happy right now, I'm actually squealing in delight. XD
