Anyone watch the presidential debate? xD

So heres a CATCH-22!

-Bush is a bad president, eh? Well, hes headstrong. Rushes in without backup. In my opinion, he shoulda stayed in Afganistan and killed Osama Bin Laden. Leave Iraq alone, or at least get backup before goin in there. Regardless, there are many views on Bush's leadership. Most people say hes horrible, because of the war. I personally dont really support bush, but hes done good stuff too. Hes a strong leader, and refuses to fold in the face of disaster. Hes not the best debater though, as many saw. However, he has a problem with thinking he is right and rushing straight into it, ignoring the objections of the rest of the world. Its frightening to think what he could do if he is not stopped. He proposed during the war in Iraq about going after others. I think he needs to learn a bit more about the middle east.

-Kerry. Hes not much better. U know why? Kerry, sure hes been to vietnam, got a better war record...is purple hearts and stuff. But guess what? Hes FOR the draft. (Think about it) not against. At least bush hasnt made his mind up about that. Kerry is truthfully noncommital. His views change often. However, his plan of iraq happened AFTER he saw the outcome of the war. Before, he voted FOR the war. In the basics, he would have thrown us into the exact same situation as Bush. Diplomatically, he would probably have done better. But when u think about it, there is no winning in iraq. Literally, the US has lost, just like in vietnam. They are reduced to fighting insurgencies that will keep popping up, the death toll rising. Inevitably, the US will have to pull out, and even if NATO was called in, it wouldnt make a difference. It would probably drive the insurgents to greater atrocities, knowing that the world is watching. Kerry is not a bad leader, but he is as flawed as bush is.

-Once more, these are just MY views. Feel free to disagree, or flame me for them xD (though flaming is not encouraged)

I will have to watch the next 2 debates. This will be very interesting. But the biggest problem is that they both have something wrong. Both have their flaws.

-Ralph Nader may be our best chance yet. xD
