sad 'n' sorry

Due to the rumor of Xabi's transference. More and more flying out, harder and harder to resist the truth!? I can't help to feel sad and sorry.

It's the first year i saw Xabi played on the pitch and the first year watched the Premier League frequency. I'd merely watched the games. I just watched the games when my friends interested, such as World Cup, we gathered together and had fun. I didn't have any favorite. My living place was a colony of Britain and the promotion of Premier League stars in Hong Kong is massive which could not escape. I used to support England otherwise i would lost focus in the match. (There's too much details need to concern in the little screen. Once i follow the ball then i miss the form and lost rhythm in the match. Last have mess in brain)

I don't know when i supported La Seleccion but i could not take an eye away Fernando anymore from he first popped up. It's fortune when i fellow Nando and joined every matches from the first day. Ah. Not every matches. It was started from i figured out how to watch matches in midnight when my parents were slept. (It's complicated)

I'm feeling joy to watch Nando at the pitch. He is shine of his outstanding. Or may be his pale freckles skin or blond hair or his round chocolate eyes. (The cameraman also couldn't help) As increasing of favorable impression, i started searching the things beside Nando. Somethings about the club drew my interest. When the sources on net cannot fulfill my hunger, i brought the DVDs of past games. It's quite a lot money but worth. At that moment, I saw Xabi. The amazing Xabi who is having break of recovery away from the pitch at present time.

I was shocked by Xabi's skills, especially the long passing. His attitude, being tackle or losing game; His calm, taking the penalty and holding the game; His beauty, of cause, the chin line and elegant and refined in manner. I was drunk by his accent.(It's different to the other Spanish. Is it the tongue roll?) Xabi adapted in the squad quick as Fernando (in my opinion) and won the trophies. Plus some imagination of fanfics, I fell for him easily.

The position of Xabi is different from before when some new players joined. He was not shined on pitch that much. Sometimes others spectacular dimmed Xabi's brilliant but he worked hard on the pitch. People stated his performance was not good as before. Hey! He just back from injured. I was glad every games he started with, bouncing and cheering for him and Nando, the Reds too (Sorry for third place). I'm quiet scare Xabi replaced by Javier or Lucas, i knew their position are not same but i couldn't stop worry. It shown as Xabi was at his low tide and the rumor started through the rest of the seasons. It's hurt for a supporter.

The team need improvement and stronger the squad for lack of silverware on past year. Due to the loan and development of the club, the owner did not seem to support Manager with big money. If we need some big names to our squad, we should cash someone to make the deal that seem the only way. I don't know the idea player; I even don't sure will he suit in the team like Nando and give the team a big effort. But will it be a risk to lose Xabi whom worked hard and stated want to stay? I don't know football much but if someone want a player with huge money means his ability costed. Are we really don't need him or we just couldn't play him well. The teammates need time to understand each others. I think it's quiet hard to blend well if every two or three years changed players. When i watched the past games, it's a pity hadn't discovered Luis Gracia. He is amazing. He would doing great at present squad. Hahh...at the end it might because of business. Some parts of football should run like business. But football is larger than business, could not count by it, should not calculate by it.

There's more and more rumor flying out. I couldn't stop worry. Even think if it will effect Xabi's performance at La Seleccion. Wish the boys win all the games and go as far as they could at Euro08 and play stylish football. Cheer.

shit happened, life
