Thoughts on ice dancing
1) What's with all the people dressed like rednecks? What's more, dressed BADLY like rednecks? Were those supposed to look like chaps?
2) And where the hell did they find that awful version of "Thank God I'm a Country Boy!?!"
2) The Russian "aborigine" program struck me as pretty offensive, actually.
4) The Indian one, on the other hand, seemed fine, although it was weird to see a shaggy-haired blond in an Indian-style outfit. That's my WASP (WASUU?) perspective, though, actual Indians may feel differently.
5) Wait, the couple in the program that ended with the guy riding the woman like she was a truck was BROTHER and SISTER? That's just WRONG.
6) Why do so few people know the difference between the "logical," "frequency," and "Bayesian" view of probability? No, wait, that's a thought about my grading, not about the ice dancing.
