(no subject)
So if you're non-Japanese and you live in Japan you just get used to being stared at day-in and day-out that you just become numb to it. But I particularly do enjoy injecting pure sodium chloride into my weeping wounds just for the buzz, you know?
So that's why I volunteered to spend 2 hours of today being stared at by 2 people that I know well and adore and another 5 people that I had never met before but who I was about to get intimate and messy with.
Last week at the Genghis Khan BBQ Rina asked me if I would be interested in modelling for her naked. And I told her to tell me the time...any time...and I would be there. And today at 2pm was it. Kinniku-kun gave me one of the sketches he drew of my 2nd pose. And next wednesday Rina will give me one of the good copies of what she'll sketch.
Anyway it was nice. I just stood in position and chilled while they all made scratchy noises with their charcoal on their paper. Then for my second pose I sat back and looked out the window. It was steaming hot but I had a couple of fans on me which felt nice.

So tomorrow is Naruto's turn to shine. We have fireworks...somewhere...at sometime. And everyone is going to be going to see them. Even Maiko who is currently in London will be attending them (and she should meet up with us with about 2 hours to spare until it gets dark...so good timing there). Katy said she will be coming to see them from Hyogo. I will be going there with Kagawa-chan and maybe Nori-chan if he finishes his reports.
Then Saturday will be into Tokushima for vodafone questions but more importantly
for the BIG Awa Odori. I can't believe that its here. Everyone on the island talks about it so much. And now its here! I'm ready to look like a white tourist here next to my own house to see some strange foreign festival while holding polystyrene plates full of festival food. Mmmm bring it on.
