My So-Called Life

I started my 3-week online class for Introduction to Psychology on Monday. I love 3-week classes, but not this time.

I'm a super slow reader, so doing this all at home, without classroom lectures to help understand things, is annoying. It takes me roughly TEN HOURS (I'm not joking) to read through 1 chapter and take notes on it (each chapter is about 34 pages). Yeah, it's ridiculous.

I set my alarm for 10:30am, eat, and study literally until about 3:30am (I take a few short breaks in between when I can't think straight). And we have to go through a chapter a day. I spent 2 whole days just studying for the exam I took tonight.

I start my new job on Monday, which is 3 weeks (mon - fri) of training from 4 - 10pm. This means that I no longer have 10 - 12 hours a day to read and study, but I can start next week's stuff tomorrow, giving me 1 extra day.

In 2 weeks, it will be my last week of Psychology, job training Mon - Fri from 4 - 10pm, AND start my Anatomy & Physiology class that is every Mon - Thurs from 8am - 12pm. This leaves me roughly 3 hours between Anatomy and work to do my Psychology homework, and by the time I get home from work (45 min drive), I will be too tired to do ANY homework at all. Roughly put: I'm going to die in the next few weeks. :(
