Russet City mine was barricaded. The miners who had been digging tunnels and shafts into the earth to reach buried ore deposits had been driven out by Team Sol, who were standing guard. Grunts were sifting through the debris on the conveyer belt for heart scales and gold nuggets. They frightened the townspeople away and continued digging.
A pair of grunts, male and female, watched the entrance.
Grumpy didn't know what the Commander wanted with those fossils. They were just old bits of rock, he thought. A man was walking by, watching them. He gave the man a glare and yelled:
"Get lost! This is our territory!"
