thinking well
random thought:
it occurred to me as i was walking though campus today that i am very glad to be taking Shanaz's class. because if i think too much already, at least now i will be good at it. (incidentally, according to her, i am "one of the most analytical students [she] has ever had, period." - that is terrifying, especially coming from her, especially coming from here. really, it kind of worries me that she wrote that. thinking is dangerous, after all.)
p.s. i promise, for real this time (!) that i will update with some thoughts on my first day back in New York. for now, i have some sushi to eat (i can't bear to face SLC's infamous cafeteria food quite yet) and some psychology to read!
[but for the record, i know this semester will be much better than last. i can already feel it. and i am learning to trust that, too.]
