(no subject)
so I was typing something when I saw something move out of the corner of my eye
mind you, I just took out my contacts
and what do I see
the world’s LARGEST centipede
also please note that I am terribly afraid of bugs - mostly centipedes and spiders
oh man
so I'm sitting here
and my mom is asleep
and im like crap what do I do - what do I do??
and im talking to myself out loud
so I jump over it and run to my room to get a shoe
I put on the shoe
and run back out
its still there, but I look at it and think oh man it is too big for me to put my foot near it
so again, im like crap what do I do?
do I throw the shoe?
no ill probably miss
so I watch it go into the kitchen
this one must’ve been really old cuz it was so big, but it was slower
so I watch it go in the kitchen and it kind of like turns to the side
so I slide past it, wearing my one shoe
and my pajamas
and I grab not one fly swatter, but two
I do a practice smack with each swatter to test which is my better option
I choose the yellow/green one over the red
im still talking to myself giving myself a pep talk
and im kind of whimpering too
because I have to be a big girl, and I hate being a big girl
I wanted to call my mom!
so I almost hit it!
but then I see this big fan
so im like can I smash it with the fan?
no
I cant
so I take the fly swatter and in one swift motion.....
I smack it
dead
splat
I screamed
and it was finished
then I just stood there on one foot, dont know why, but I stood on the shoed foot
and I was shaking
so I put the fly swatters back
left the bug guts on the floor underneath my moms desk.... ill have to explain in the morning
and now im back at my computer still wearing the one shoe recounting the whole adventure to you
and... exhale
