This room I've been sleeping in is perfect at this time of day, when twilight is just beginning and the light left coming through the drawn blinds is a soft gray haze and everything is cool and quiet. I came in here the other evening at this time and just lay in the dimness, listening to Neil as the day drew to a complete close and soothing darkness seeped in at the edges.
In a moment I am going to do it again, minus the book of course, as I've finished it and returned it, but the feeling of the room and the peace of it makes me wish I could hear "Elsewhere" right now. The true theme of course fits nothing (anymore), but I keep hearing her voice in my head:
