Is there anyone who is not affected by this event?

[Sometimes a few people are skipped, at least from what he's seen, but so far he's heard of no one but those already without powers to lose being unaffected.]

[Filtered to the angels] )

siblings suck, plot plot plot, filters filters filters, asking questions, the one sibling that doesn't suck

It doesn't seem like it.

That's unusual.

[Not that he minds all too much. If it's true, then that means only he was skipped, and he's not complaining.]

Hm. Why are you asking?

[Not that he cares overly much, but there is the flicker of something like curiosity on his face.]

This event has been unusual all around.

Curiosity.

[Which is true, mostly.]

And it would be beneficial to know if someone was much more overpowered than the others currently as well.

Point.

[Idly, distractedly, he rubs at his side, just over his ribs.]

A frightening concept, if one cares to be frightened by ideas like that. The Animus do seem to be the great equalizer, though.

I suppose, though that is still the case when everyone is at full power anyway.

They can be when they desire to, but it seems being entertaining is more important much of the time.

It seems like the angels are hardly having an easy time of this event.

[Johannes keeps his expression and tone both neutral.]

It's a drastic change to become accustomed to.

[He can't really catch subtleties in tone, but he's a little guarded with his answer already anyway.]

I have to say that I was a little surprised at the avatars you lot chose. I always had the impression your sort had a passion for more -- [how to phrase it. he finishes lamely:] .. flair.

We choose vessels based on particular qualities they have that make them suitable to sustain an angel. Not all humans are possible choices.

'Flair' in what way?

Demons are all cloven hooves and virginal sacrifices. I'd expect at least a wardrobe of white robes from you angels.

[..this is as close to teasing as Johannes gets. He is entirely deadpan.]

[It's next to impossible for him to determine any level of teasing even when it's obvious. 8|]

We rarely change what our vessel was already wearing.

[There's a brief pause, though.]

I did have a sister who appeared much like the traditional concept of angels, however.

[Oh, hey: he and Johannes should get along, then.

Or kill each other by accident.]

Purposely?

[EITHER ONE.]

I don't believe so. Her vessel was simply a match for the archtype.

Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, delicate?

[He only.. sort of cares.]

Yes, and dressed in white, as you mentioned.

My secondary vessel would also be a match for the type, once she was older.
