[Castiel flips on the feed, once again in the safehouse he had broadcasted from with Jo. He looks worse for the wear this time, pale and splattered with blood, but there's also something much more subtly different about him

[When she felt the burst of energy, the Grace, she was horrified. Because Gabriel -- and in a perfect world, Lucifer just died, but she knows better than to ever count her luck against her past few days, but --
-- then she calms down. And focuses -- really focuses -- on the energy. And the more she focuses on the energy, the more she begins to realize what happened, and the message she receives only proves it.
But instead of responding via PCD, she decides to respond the old fashioned way.]
Long time no talk.
[She actually sounds, ever so slightly, almost happy.]
[In a flutter of feathers, Castiel appears next to her, shielding himself from the flames simply because it's less strenuous than healing himself. He's exhausted, but a tiny bit pleased as well.]
The peculiarities in resurrections were of benefit to me.
[She almost jumps, but instead turns slightly to look him up and down, almost appraisingly -- before the senshi tugs him into a tight hug.
-- well, almost. It's not quite as tight as it normally would be, because she's weak, and exhausted, and hasn't slept since this all started, but it's definitely tight enough to be felt. Which is really what matters.]
Much better.
[In a breath, as she lets go slightly to force a tiny smile.]
[The hug hurts, damage only partially healed from the injuries that had killed him an hour or so previously, but he doesn't mind. The comfort of it outweighs the minor pain.]
My grace is where it should be.
[Though it too hurts, and he doesn't know why. If he pays close attention, it might feel like the place where it had been torn out is what hurts and not his grace itself, but that doesn't make sense.]
[Before he even finishes his sentence, she presses a gloved hand against his chest, frowning slightly as she focuses her energy, before she smiles faintly to herself.]
Like shoving a peg back into its hole.
[And she gently pats his chest, where his heart is.]
Does it hurt?
[She says that like she already knows the answer.]
[She frowns up at him, brow furrowing slightly, before she gently presses her fingers into his chest.]
Cas --
[And here, she would normally scold him, tell him not to over-exert himself, calling himself an idiot for thinking he suddenly has use -- but the girl pauses before averting her eyes, dropping her hand, as she refocuses her attention on the ground.
He wouldn't be in the position he was in if it weren't for her. Who was she to tell him not to do something?]
['Her'. And she eyes him for a moment, but doesn't ask. She'll figure it out. They're giant beings of darkness. Supersized youma. Mars can handle that much. She can fix this much.]
Have you heard from him?
[She refocuses her attention on Castiel, eyes narrowing slightly.
She means Nathaniel. She doesn't have to say such.]
... if the death cycle is broken and everyone is being brought back quickly without a price, why hasn't he come back yet?
[Castiel doesn't have an answer. She doesn't really expect one. But she's already shoving down so much pain and grief from the past two days that she can't manage to shove down one more ounce of it.]

I should have expected it would. But it is ultimately not an issue; my abilities have returned, and I can be of use to others during this attack.

What are you doing here?
[Surely there's a reason she's here, wherever 'here' is.]

[She's quiet, but she takes a step backward -- only a small one, just so Castiel can't grab her and fly away if he so chose.]
I'm meeting the senshi and we're going to take out one of the things in the city. Before anything else gets destroyed.

I must face one as well.
[He knows now which one was Kyoko; he can feel it. And he promised her.]

[Quietly, though with the tiniest hint of firmness somewhere in her tone.]

[He knows better, even if it goes against his usual independence and desire to do everything on his own.]

I have not. However, I am likely not the first he would contact.

[Indeed, he doesn't really have answers, but he tries anyway. Of course, in doing so he might not really be helping.]
It is possible he has indeed returned, but continues to die each time due to injuries.
