[Castiel really has nothing relevant to be posting about. He would've skipped doing so for this event entirely, busy with other projects, if it didn't happen to become necessary

And kinda sad. Sam's a nerd and he never got shoved in a locker. Hold up, I'm nearly there. [Dean's heavy footsteps should be audible to Castiel by now, as he trudges over a rise.]

Sam is far too large to ever fit in a locker.
[Your brother is a moose, Dean. And Castiel wishes Jimmy had been too, at the moment. He hears the footsteps and shifts slightly, speaking outloud instead of directed at the PCD.]
Have you been caught in any of them since the event began?
[He's leaned his head against the door, so he can talk through the slats and try to be a bit less muffled. This is so stupid and more than slightly embarrassing.]
A few but I got out of them. So far nothing like this. [The door jiggles once and Dean removes the lock and swings the door open.] How did you manage to fit in there anyways. It's not like you're small either.
[FREEDOM. He steps out and please ignore how disheveled he looks after being stuck in an enclosed space for three hours; indeed, it wasn't at all an easy fit. Thankfully the locker was tall enough he didn't have to duck, and just big enough that by twisting around in the corner he'd had about an inch or two of free space.]
Not easily.
[As much as Rei pokes at him for losing weight, he's certainly not tiny. He scowls at the locker for a moment, then looks at Dean.]
[Castiel has been having terrible luck with this event, so he sticks close to Dean, whose stick idea is really both brilliant and obvious.
Too bad it doesn't counteract Castiel's terrible fortune, as a trap appears from nowhere beneath their feet; it's another pit trap, and though it's deep and the walls are stone (and therefore will be tough to climb), there are at least no spikes or anything at the bottom.]
[Castiel does the same, touching the stone walls; he's climbed out of one of these before, but it had been more than a little difficult and he'd split a nail. Which really hurt more than such a minor thing should've, in his opinion.
When Dean calls him over, he drifts toward his friend, unsure exactly what he means.]
You're going to stand on my shoulders once I lift you up. Okay? [He kneels down and cups his hands together to give him a step up.] Step onto my hands, and I'm help you up.
[He's hot entirely sure how that'll work, but okay; he figures Dean knows what he's doing. Looking up, he tries to gauge if it would be enough to reach if he stood on Dean's shoulders, but it's hard to say.
Still, it's worth a try. He frowns slightly in consideration at Dean's hands but steps onto them as requested, hand on the wall of the pit for balance.]

Yes, I'm aware this situation is apparently humorous, Dean.

But there comes a rattle at the edge of the locker.]
Yeah, I'm here. One sec. [Lock picks are go.]

Though here, have a relieved sigh as he's indeed thankful for your presence.]
Be careful, Dean. There are a vast number of traps in this area.
[He doesn't want you getting caught by something while working on the lock. Or get attacked by the lock itself or something stupid like that.]

Dean slides the first pick into the lock carefully and gets to work.]
I noticed. There was a cage of man-eating rabbits between here and my place.

Thank you.
[You get an actual thanks, Dean. Feel special.]

Any time. [He prods a little harder at the dirt and a bear trap snaps over the end of it.] And that's how I'm avoiding some of this crap.

That was not very effective, Dean.
[Yep. Blaming this on you.]

It was for a while. I got here with using that.
