026 [Video]

[He's on the grounds of the Temple for this broadcast, and like everywhere in the city at the moment there are apple trees suddenly doting the landscape. And apples everywhere.

Also Castiel's horrible trenchcoat has made a reappearance; despite that the weather isn't that bad, it warrants the coat. To him at least.]

Is this the event?

[the video shows Thomas lounging somewhere, possibly in one of the apple trees, and he's casually tossing one of the apples up and down with a smirk]

They make for great ammunition.

[Thomas turns the PCD's camera towards a tree about ten, twenty feet away, and focuses it on a bright green apple. The image jumps a little as he throws, but the visual is clear enough that the apple he'd just been bouncing in the palm of his hand has now knocked the other one from the tree and into smithereens.]

Works better shooting them out with an apple gun, but it's not like those are falling out of the sky.

[He watches, and the display just serves to remind him that he's carrying a sword and it might be useful for knocking apples from trees with. Hm.

And then he's distracted by the very thought an apple gun.]

...There's a gun that shoots apples?

[The PCD is turned back so that Thomas can be seen again. Hard to tell if he's joking or not, but then he always looks and sound like he is no matter what he's saying]

Or anything else you can shove down that pipe, princess. [he smirks at that and takes a bite of another apple.] Apples seem like a good choice at the moment.

[He's pretty used to that; one of his brothers is like that most of the time. And he's now pondering this gun.]

I presume it would still require gunpowder, and likely a sizable amount to launch larger projectiles.

[a chuckle. Maybe Harry didn't inherit all the destructive tendencies]

You're thinking too hard, darling. All you need's a little hairspray or propane and you can get these things going far enough to go through walls.

[what, it's not like he spent his entire high school career getting laid. There was a time before when he'd been interested in normal teenage boy things. Like blowing shit up.]

[Blowing shit up is important. Being able to fire things without gunpowder is even more so.]

How?

[Thomas laughs again, warm and full of life, with the barest touch of demonic Hunger beckoning in his voice.]

That'd be telling, darling. How badly do you want to know?

[He's getting a little better at this negotiating stuff. A tiny bit. Not a whole lot. Just enough to try to downplay a bit.]

It isn't pressing, but would be useful.

[He can always experiment himself knowing hairspray or propane is involved but even Castiel can see how that might end badly without more specific knowledge.]

Looks like I do have something you want after all.

Perhaps.

[He still hasn't drank the bottle of tequila he has stashed away. It would be worth trading it if the information was good enough.]

You'll have to make a better offer than that, sweetheart. You can't just lie back and expect me to do all the work.

I don't know exactly what you're offering either.

godofcologne October 16 2011, 03:49:43 UTC
That depends, princess. Would you rather have knowledge or an object?

Reply

wingsandwill October 16 2011, 03:51:26 UTC
Knowledge.

[It's a pretty much instant answer; he'd much rather know how to do something than be given something that works but he doesn't understand.]
