U GUIZE, ONTD_STARTREK IS TOO EPIC. I CANNAE HANDLE IT, CAPTAIN!
(I have not been on the comm in over a week. I WISH I HAD THE TIME/INSANITY TO GO THROUGH EVERYTHING I'VE MISSED. I just cannot handle how fannish/wonderful/lovely everything is on there, and everything moves so fast on that comm that blargh I know I've missed the creation of 1943018 epic macros and/or gifs and the start of 23 new catchphrases and argh. I have no idea why I love it so much.)

EDIT: So I've read through a couple of Vegas con recap posts, and feel better about knowing what's going on. Also been through an odyssey of looking up the origins of fannish terms, and revisited the JibJab dances I made. But for some reason, making new JibJab videos uses 99% of my CPU and a shitload of memory - I don't remember it being that awkward before, but then maybe I was willing to sacrifice for the laughs or something. Anyhow, I can't have fun with it because I'm too worried my computer is going to explode. Plus they only have, like, 2 free ones and I refuse to pay $16 US just to paste people's heads on ridiculous videos. Sigh. The life of a fangirl, I suppose. :P
Oh, and I made a flourless cake yesterday. It turned out... interesting. I have concluded it would make a great base for something, perhaps some sliced-up fruit and a ton of whipped cream. As it is, it's kind of like a really dense, sweet pancake that tastes like nuts and eggs. I'm really not sure whether it was supposed to be 3/4 of an inch thick, because it sure doesn't seem like a cake to me. :/ Ah well, it's interesting. And I can eat it!
