[Florina is panicking even more than usual. Anyone who listens closely can hear something large snorting and stamping around in the background.]
Ah! Um...hello, uh, a-anyone? I um, I could use s-some...
Does...does anyone have any hay? Or m-maybe a, erm, a stable?
I, um, m-my g...Er, t-t-that is...um...
MY FRIEND IS A PEGASUS!

1. She has no experience with being a horse, much less one with wings.
2. There is not enough room in the apartment for a pegasus.
3. She can't talk.
The result is a very agitated Lyn-pegasus, though she's trying to keep herself under control for Florina's sake.]

With a shiver, she roughly pats Lyn and glances at the door.]
M-maybe, er, maybe we should t-try and g-g-get you outside. T-then, er, you could, um, h-have s-some, um, some m-more space.

The problem is getting through that door. She turns her head to it and neighs in annoyance. Can she really fit through there?]

N-now, w-we can do this. Ah! H-head up! N-n-no, no, down, down more... T-tuck your chin in. Y-yes, just like that...W-wings, wings folded, um...now...forward!
[Without thinking, she gives Lyn a light swat on the flank to encourage her to move forward.]

Lyn promptly snaps her head around to glare at her. Girl, you can get away with a lot, but come on, she's not actually a horse!]

L-l-l-lady Lyndis! I-I-I...I-I, erm, well, um...H-huey, uh, Huey was a v-very stubborn...erm, j-just t-t-try to go through the d-door okay?

Taking a deep breath, she starts through the door, slowly and carefully. She's still a little wobbly on these horse legs.
First her head gets through, then her neck... she braces herself to get stuck at the shoulders but they actually make it through. She's good until she's about halfway through the door, actually.
Then her wings get stuck.
That. Hurts. She whinnies loudly, almost loses her footing, and stops dead.]

N-n-now, okay, k...keep calm! Just stay calm! I...um...
[That statement was partly for Lyn, but mostly for herself. With a deep breath, she slowly reaches for one wing, being careful not to startle Lyn. She really does not want to get smacked in the face right now.]
I...If y-you'll just let me adjust these, um, I should,er, be able t-to get you unstuck, o-okay? J-just staaaay still and t-t-try your best not to move...
[She swallows hard and gently grips the wing. ]

G-great! You're, you're doing great. J-just stay like that, and I'll, um, fix the other one f-for you...
[She extends the wing and folds it neatly down, just like the other one. After rummaging frantically in her pockets for a moment, she frowns and taps Lyn gently to get her attention.]
Er, d-do we have any um, any rope? Or anything that could tie these down? I, um, I don't seem t-to have anything...
[She almost forgot Lyn couldn't talk. Well, this complicates things a bit. Now, she just has to figure out a way to solve this without panicking. Yeah, good luck with that.]
Ah! Um, y-y-you can, um...w-well, maybe, uh...whicker means yes, stomp means no?
Reply
Rope? Well, she doesn't recall ever getting any of that. She's about to stomp when she remembers that there was an earthquake in Luceti a long time ago and she'd had to tie a few things down. She never brought the rope back to the store after using it.
Whickering, she nods her head in the direction of the closet, at least as best she can with her head out in the hall. Hopefully Florina can interpret that.]

Er, I, um, I...I c-couldn't...um, w-where is it? Is it in the kitchen?
[That was a dumb question. Who keeps rope in a kitchen? Lyn probably thinks she's an idiot, but it is surprisingly hard to understand the body language of a horse caught in a doorframe. She cringes and backpedals as fast as she can. ]
Er, I mean, um, i-is it, is it in this room, or, or a, um, closet? Um...a c-cupboard?

After a bit of thought, she lifts up one of her back legs, the one closest to the closet door, and slowly, so as not to kick Florina if she's standing too close, moves it so that her foot is pointing in the direction of the closet.]
Reply
R-right! Okay, the closet! T-that makes sense.
[She runs over to the closet and flings practically everything out into the room. Somewhere in the mess, she finds a coil of rope. With a triumphant squeak, she heads over to Lyn, tripping over the closet contents in the process. She'll clean it up later, honest.]
A-a-alright, I'm going to use this rope to um, to t-tie your wings down. It will probably be uncomfortable, but, uh, it shouldn't really hurt...though it might pull or s-sting, um, a little...Ah! B-but at least then you won't, er, be caught in the d-door anymore!...J-just let me know if it h-hurts too much, a-alright?
[She flings the rope over Lyn's back and ducks under her stomach so she can begin tying it together.
