1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?

Moved out of home, became vegan, went through hypnosis counselling/therapy, went to three funerals.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I think my main resolution was to move out and I did that, with my lovely Chris. :)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

No. Went to a wedding though.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Yes. My uncle.  I am still devastated.  Also Chris’ grandfather and uncle, and my friend’s mother.

5. What countries did you visit?

Australia because I live here.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

A more organised wardrobe, air-conditioning, a footspa, a digital camera, a food steamer.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

None.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

A pay rise, moving out of home, becoming vegan.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Not being able to curb my anger.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Insomnia, bit of depression.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

All the awesome stuff for the flat, including crazy retro print couch. Also all my Lush products, silver flats, Grbac top, and Portmans shorts. Also my In the Night Garden toys. So cute!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

My friends and family, especially my Mum, Dad, Chris and Rob who were always supportive and wonderful. :D Also my wonderful workmates Clive and Amanda who always keep me laughing.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Meh. A few people, but I’m over it.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Rent, food, furniture, dvds, clothes.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Moving out, Robyn staying with me, work Xmas party, Sex and the City premiere.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

Eliza by Jackson Jackson.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Same, though weight fluctuated throughout year.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer, but all for the best (moving out) and still have savings.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Chilling out, travelling, exercise.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Stressing, getting angry.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

Spent it with family at the Sunshine Coast.

21. How will you be spending New Years Eve?

Currently having a Spaced marathon with Chris and Adrian.

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?

Over and over again.

23. How many one-night stands?

I have the cheeky urge to say 100, but I really mean 0.

24. What was your favorite TV program?

Spaced, the Mighty Boosh, Gilmore Girls. And (drum roll) In The Night Garden! :D

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

No.

26. What was the best book you read?

Lolita.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

She & Him. Favourite album of the year!

28. What did you want and get?

All of Gilmore Girls, a printer from my parents.

29. What did you want and NOT get?

Digital camera, air-con.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?

Sex and the City, Twilight, Mamma Mia, and (drum roll) Enchanted.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

23 and I was working, had dinner with my parents and Chris in the evening at Wagamama.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Tons of sex. Because I’ve wanted to write that answer for most of the questions so far. ;D

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?

Lots of black clothes, ballet pumps, fluffy hair, no make-up.

34. What kept you sane?

Chris. Myself. My mother. Food.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Same as last year probably. Catherine Tate and Eddie Izzard.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

A thousand and one things re: animal rights, environment.

37. Who did you miss?

Robyn. My uncle.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

Kat  and Kelly from Doctor Who, my fellow vegan also named Kat, and Ian from work.

Chill out. Everybody dies.
