So I finally made it through all gazillion pages of Harry Potter and well....
Miyuki's 3rd grade story about the princess and the tennis racket (bit single minded ain't she) had fewer plot holes.
First 3 books not too bad, solid focused fun kid's stories. I loved the third one actually, the double sided conversations with Snape and Lupin were glorious.
the forth book dragged like a dead horse.
fifth and sixth picked up though, helps when stuff actually happens makes the story hell of a lot more interesting.
but the seventh....oh god the seventh....where to start. The outright contradictions in the story, the blatant and poorly executed plot devices, the superfluous story lines, the irrelevant information, the utter and complete idiocy of all characters. I just can't pick.
I liked Regulus...
Weekend was fun, kind of weird not to be smoking with my friends but I had fun going out and discovering this bright and beautiful city.
