(no subject)
Wow, just realized I haven't had an ACTUAL update (no surveys,etc.) since November 28th! That was forever ago, damn! Just been pretty busy.. and lately I've gotten tied up into facebook and myspace! So I'm gonna go ahead and blame it on that :)
December basically just started out with me stressing as usual... about exams and what not. I only had three classes this semester and I did great in two of them and completely FAILED the other.. so there goes my GPA! I tend to suck at life sometimes!!!!! Anyway, the day we got done with exams we had a Christmas sweater party!!!! Everyone wore the most hideous christmas clothes (check out my webshots!). It was a great drunken time and lots of ppl ended up coming. The very next morning I flew down to Florida to spend six days in the sunshine with Mike. For the most part, it was a great trip. He took me to the Red Wings game when they played Tampa Bay... and they won, of course, so I got to rub that in a bit! :) And we went out a couple different nights w/his friends.
Christmas was just as awesome as always. The family was wonderful, the food was great. I love being around everyone, because it's so rare that we get to be. Loved it.
Our new years plan to go to Chicago ended up falling through, so we stuck around in Jackson. Went to dinner with some people that I never get to hang out with, that was nice :) And afterwards went to the bar with the girls/the crew! Had a fun time, nothing tooo crazy this year though.
Other than that, everything has been pretty low key. I had two weeks off of work and spent it relaxing in Florida and Jackson. I've also applied to University of Florida, University of South Florida, and University of Tampa. So hopefully I'll be hearing something back soon and then I can make my final decisions! So crazy to think that this time next year I'll probably be in Florida going to school. Makes me so nervous to think about. I've never been away from my family OR Emily for very long at all, it's gonna be hard! I'll miss everyone, for sure, but I know I'd be able to come back and visit quite a bit. I'm just ready for new oppurtunities. And to set the record straight, it's NOT to be closer to Mike. I promise on my life that I'm doing this for me. And I can also tell you that my future with him seems pretty nonexistent in my mind. That's a whole different story though!
Alright the new years resolutions are pretty much the same as most years. Eat less, work out more!!! But this year I'm really going to try and focus on my future and really setting goals and at least TRY to figure out and decide what I want to do with the next five years of my life. I'm also going to try harder to show my friends and family how mcuh I really appreciate them.
Alright, that's all I think! :) Hope everyone had a great winter break and awesome holidays. We all deserve the break! :)
