I was was busy programming the Blue Force Tracker the other day, so I (luckily) missed out on searching the TCN cabs. My usual partner John found what he thought was an oversized coffee cup with a screw-on lid, but it turned out to be a well-used fleshlight.
So far John has also had a pair of dirty chonies fall on his head, and accidentally kicked an unseen piss-bottle.
I saw a baby jackal the other night, for just an instant. Periodically I'll see what looks like a kangaroo rat hop across the road ahead of us. I think they are actually Jerboas. Lots of sheep and donkeys, too.
I fired my driver the other day, and now I like everyone on my truck. That'll help a lot over the next 5-6 months.

I'm still reading "SHOGUN" and have been watching a lot of Robot Chicken.
Today was a maintenance day, after 4 days on the road. It's nice to sleep in my own bed for a change.
