Madicon Mix-up
So the thing that was going to keep me from going to Madicon this year, the whole "going to Cold Wars in PA with my brother" thing... yeah, he totally flaked on that date, thought it was something else entirely happening sometime in June.
Long and the short of it is that I am now free that weekend, but am undecided if I want to go to Madicon.
Madicon has always been fun, but as a non-JMU / Harrisonburg area college person, it's less a draw for me than many others. Cthulhu knows I love you folks, but money/time is becoming an issue this year.
1) Anyone in the southern NOVA area driving there and want/not mind an extra rider/driver? (and some gas money)
2) Anyone know if there are any hotel rooms left? How much are they running at this point?
3) How heavily booked is the Madicon schedule at this point?
I have several games I can bring in -- ranging from the simple board game stuff, to RPGs (have a great Spycraft game ready to go, for example) to Loaded Questions, the Adult version (http://www.loadedquestions.com/loadedquestions-adult.html) which is DYING to be a drinking game.
I'm totally sitting on the fence here -- Madicon could be fun, but it's not a requirement for me. Thoughts?
