Let's see here...
Late Saturday night I managed to visit Eric's to see Ben and Sarah for a bit (* and finally saw the "Robin Williams: Live at the Met" video after like eight years of hearing of its glory). Monday Tommy called to chat. And today yesterday I randomly encountered two people whilst out and about. I think the universe is trying to tell me something... I need to spend some time with my friends. I really really miss them. But I don't think I want put the massive effort into co-ordinating something. I still remember my last pathetic attempt at that... plus, I know at least three will be out of town this weekend. bleh.
I finally got a raise at the Natty Way. And I didn't have to ask for it. ::sigh of relief::
Elizabeth's wedding was Sunday. It was GORGEOUS. The reception at Hannah's Bistro was a bit weird/awkward at times... Jason and I did a lot of standing around. But it was still pretty good. I'm so glad he could be there with me. The food was amazing (of course), and the cake, if you could really call it that, was a literal mouth-gasm. He's right. We should have made off with half of it. I am truly happy for Elizabeth, but after some of the qualms Kimber confessed to me, all I have to say is that man had better treat my friend right...
Things with Jason are going just swimingly. I'm still amazed to find myself with someone who makes me feel so comfortable and happy. That's all I can really say without digging too deep... and nobody needs that :)
I met his entire immediate family last Sunday (which was quite crazy) and have been hanging out with them a bit these last few days. This week I suppose I'll be meeting much of the rest of them. His grandmother passed away Monday. It's a strange, sad time to get to know them... but aparently they like me, and I feel comfortable around them. I feel blessed that they are inviting me in...
In other news, school is kind of stressing me out. Photography is a lot of work, and I don't understand a lot of it. My Photoshop 1 teacher is insufferable and she requires a $34 text book for this class that only meets five times. And as interesting as Cultural Anthrophology is, the class is boring as hell. I didn't retain nearly as much info as I could have for the test last week. Go, Whitney...
I'm just tired. So of course I'm updating instead of sleeping... This has got to stop.
