A Modern Woman

Dec 22, 2005 10:12

Medium used: Black, red and blue ink, brush, ink nib

I was going to create another tree, when my idea transformed halfway and decided to create a self-portrait, and then I went off again and decided to make an abstract figure, with a soul that seems to creep out of her body (below her breasts). Lines were created by the nib (still can't get used to it like a pen :/..) and the hair was made using brush strokes and some finger strokes. Other speckles are made by dabbing my fingers in ink and just making dots.

This was a 2-page artwork, the other side only showing her fleeting soul in a cross form (two blue ink finger strokes).
