With the acquisition of the TiVo and an extra laptop (while I transfer stuff over to my new T42p), our home contains over half a terabyte in hard drive space.. I think it's about 560GB. I guess it's not that ridiculous considering that you can get 300+ GB hard drives nowadays.
In a few years I hope to look back at this entry and think, "How the heck did we manage to store anything with that little space?"
My family got a late start in terms of buying a computer, so our first computer weighed in with a hefty 4MB of RAM and 420MB of disk space. I'm glad that the days of fiddling with boot disks to play Doom are over.
