Never a dull moment in this place, huh.

Well, the bar's still open! Don't try to drown your sorrows or anything though, okay? That's no way to deal with what just happened.

[Locked to Buffy and Meryl]Hey Buffy, Meryl, got a question. There's a guy who came to Luceti a few months ago, Shizuo- he fell on the fountain, if you were around for that. ( Read more... )

Hey, speaking of that... What was your family like? I only remember hearing about your work.

[Call her curious. Though then she gives a soft giggle.] A lot about your work.

I didn't actually get to see my family last week! I was pretty busy. I remember having a brother, though.

Hahaha, was I really that noisy about the "princess"?

Ohhh, that's too-- [...wait what is she saying there.] No, I guess it's better you didn't see them. No awkward memories now.

[She actually did like the members of her "family", even if she's upset that she thought they were family in the first place.]

Just a little. I guess "bodyguard" is out for future work.

Heh, well, that would be up to Lilly, I think, but I have a feeling she'd rather avoid me after everything.

[Miracles do happen. Then again he's not sure if he'd be willing to do that job for free.]

Avoid you? You mean, so even you can't be a charmer all the time? [It's mostly just teasing--but she is a little curious what happened. She thought it'd be the other way around.] But I meant bodyguarding for other people, too.

She just takes things too seriously! It's not like any of what happened that week was my fault. [Other bodyguarding, though... huh.] I never really thought about being a bodyguard, but if a job came my way, I don't think I'd say no! I mean, if someone was in trouble and needed it, I couldn't just say no.

I thought you might say something like that.

Uh-oh, I'm not becoming predictable, am I?

[Slowly, though with the smile on her face she already knows her smile...it's just a matter of phrasing.] I'm not sure I would say "becoming"...

Not when it comes to people in trouble.

You got me there. It's a good thing though, right? You can't be a hero by letting people get hurt.

Even if that means getting in a little trouble yourself. I know. Say, I guess I've been a hero myself sometimes too. [She has certainly gotten herself in enough trouble for it.]

Well, you did save me already! And I know you helped Cloud a lot, too. We were lucky to have you around.

Saved you? [She's surprised for a moment before he goes on, and laughs it off, assuming he means how she met both.] Someone had to wake you sleepyheads up. And you really were lucky! You even had some flowers to break your fall. Though that wasn't so lucky for the flowers...

Haha, that's right, you yelled at me when I stepped on them! Maybe I hit my head harder than I thought to not notice them before.

Now don't go blaming the fall for everything. They were right in front of you!

...It'd be nice to see them again.

Most people don't expect to see flowers again!

Have any showed up at the flower shop? We could put some planters in the apartment. Oh, or how about a garden outside the building? I bet people would love to see that!
