Yankee Doodle what?
Hi, we almost got blown up tonight. Twice. Silly children with their silly illegal fireworks, heh. We had so much fun. We attended a barbeque at Stan and Lisa's, friends of my step-dad, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There wasn't a huge crowd of people hanging out there, but there were enough to keep us occupied conversationally. After dinner and dusk, Stan brought out the heavy duty artillery, and the people across the street hauled out theirs. There were a LOT of fireworks going off up and down the street. I swear I've nearly gone deaf ...
Anyway, I took some pictures with my 35mm camera. Whenever I get around to having them developed, I'll be sure to share! In the meantime, here are some festive pictures I took earlier. ;)
A simple desktop wallpaper tile that I made, and have displayed on Tim's computer. :B~
And you should check out the logo update I made for lai_lovers. It's pinkeriffic. Oh yeah, I made a couple of "patriotic" journal icons, as well. ;D But you'll have to look for those yourself. I'm too lazy to find out the specific URL for the images. Pfft.
