"Clippin the coupons..."
So this weekend was the definition of awesome. Saturday was Anna's birthday, so we were determined to do something awesome for it. So, what do all VT kids do when they want to have a good time? They go to CANADA! So, friday night we all went to Krista's house to sleep over so we could leave the next morning. We got a crazy lady at Hannafords to write Clippin the Coupons on a cake for us. It was beautiful. So, we were all really psyched about going.
Then...we woke up to like, a friggin foot and a half of snow. It was ridiculous. So, we looked up the weather and saw that there was a blue clous of snow over our entire route to Montreal. Fuck. But, we're stupid and we really wanted to go, so we went anyways! And as it turns out, the roads really weren't that bad at all. They were ok. It was super. Once we made it into the city we found a magnificent parking place that only cost $4 for the day. It was awesome. So we found the underground mall and wandered in there for a couple hours. Then, Anna got an awesome haircut by a crazy canadian and me and DER decided in a month we would do the same. Cuz we want magnificent haircuts too. So, next month we're going back.
Dinner was an adventure too. We went to this nice place on St. Catherine St (no, it was not a strip joint). They had a pretty short drink list, so me, DER, and Anna all got the same thing, a Bella Martini. Long story short, Anna didn't like hers and DER didn't want to become dangerouls sedated, so I ended up having three drinks instead of one. Needless to say, I was a little drunk. Good stuff. Emergency bathroom trips to sketchy carwashes are bad though.
All in all, good weekend! Now I'm off to work.
