I've tried two of the three new Mountain Dew flavors. I really like the lime one, though I don't think it will be this year's winner -- it's too similar to the original Dew. I'd better stock up before it's discontinued. White Out is ok, but it tastes really similar to Sprite or ginger ale. I've bought the third one, but haven't tried it yet. I'll probably do that later today.
I'm going to try something new. The post directly before this is my goal list. As I finish things, it will help me keep track of what I still need to do.
Like I mentioned in my goal list, I'm self-studying to get A+ certified. My goal is to get out of the boat and go into something computer related. I built my first machine last month. It was for someone else, though, which is why there's one on my list right now. I've already picked out most of the components, I only have to pick out my optical drives, the hard drive, and my cooling system. I also have to pick out my lighting, but that's more of an optional thing and less of a necessity for the computer's functionality. I'm really going all out, though, and this will be a huge project for me. The case I've picked is clear, so I'm going to be learning how to do lighting with cold cathodes. The processor runs hotter than the case can handle with just fans, so I'll be learning how to do liquid cooling. I'm debating putting in a blu-ray burner along with the DVD burner. My only concern is space.
I've been working with my airbrush a little, too. I painted Epona, but I didn't seal it well enough so it chipped and I need to redo it. I'm taking my time on it, though, because she's a pain in the ass to restring. When I do Rowan's body blushing, I'll use the airbrush. I've been contemplating using it for parts of her faceup, too. It'd only be on the ears, but it'll be smaller and more precise than anything I've done thus far, so it'll be good practice (I hope? Good practice or tons of frustration!).
I also mentioned in my goal list that I've been buying coin on payday to use as savings. I've got a total of five piggy banks, so I'm putting them all to use. My quarter bank is almost full. The three that are for smaller coins have a lot less, though. My 5th bank is sheep bank and it has $51 in $1 coins right now, but I only add to that one when I need to go to the bank for something. Doing it this way works better for me, I'm less likely to spend $100 in quarters than I am $100 in $20 bills. It's my vacation fund, I'll probably cash it in sometime during the last week of August.
