I decided I'm writing a Treble fic of my experience with St Patrick's Day outings this year. I've already got the intro done - I'd probably have written more, but it hasn't actually happened yet. (The final product will be posted on my
dance story blog. But I'll let you know when it's up.)

Keeva MacHale says that for her, St Patrick’s Day is the most important holiday of the year. Bigger even than her birthday, she says. Bigger even than Christmas. You can understand this; St Patrick’s Day is the holiday most associated with the Irish, and Keeva MacHale is, of your dance friends, the one who most associates with her Irish heritage.
“We must carpool to all the St Pat’s outings together,” you tell her two weeks in advance.
“Absolutely,” she responds, “We’ll make it a party. I can fit four other people in my car.”
“Excellent,” you say, and together you spend the next week and a half planning and inviting and psyching each other up for the day. There are seven events your dance team is performing for, which means eight trips in the car. “I’ll get my sister to bake cookies,” you promise, because it isn’t St Patty’s Day without shamrock cookies.
“I’ll make a playlist of Irish songs,” Keeva MacHale promises in return.

Can you tell how excited I am for Thursday? :DDDDD
And all of this is so true. I'm getting my younger sister to bake tomorrow afternoon because she loves to bake, and I love to eat her baking - a win/win situation. My friend, let's continue calling her Keeva, really did say that to me about St Pat's being her fav holiday of the year. And she did make the playlist - apparently, it's over 5 hours long. We may be driving to seven outings, but I doubt we'll be in the car for 5 hours. (BUT I CAN ALWAYS HOPE LOLOL)
Maaaaan, I cannot wait. Best dancing day OF THE YEAR.
