This is currently the 65th American anniversary for the Pearl Harbor sneak attack by the Japanese. 65 years and we're still honoring those who died then. Almost makes me want to die in some spectacular event. With added special effects to make my horrible end awesome and cool, of course. And, like.... ninjas..... or something...
Speaking of which, I wonder what the Japanese think of this day? I wonder if it's a national holiday much like it is here? I mean, it started, more or less, the Japanese period of getting into the war and opening up their boarders to the world... I think. So, yea. I wonder. When I go there in the summer, I should totally ask. I'll be all like, "Pearl Harbor wa think of desu?" or something stupid, though. >_>;;;
