Pacing, Everything is About Pacing
I've recently really wanted to get into an argument with someone on the Asatru list about illegal immigration. I've wanted to get smitey with the citey. I really have.
And I just don't have time. I'm too bloody busy. I have a two year and a wonderful wife that I enjoy spending time with. I have a house and yard with constant upkeep demands. I'm finishing up a workshop and an alternate for an upcoming Pagan festival. I'm starting an Asatru kindred. I'm working on that kindred's website and trying to learn a whole new content manager in the process. I'm also working on learning Linux, trying to keep up language study (mostly unsuccessfully at the moment unfortunately), and reading up on lore and what's happening in Asatru. I'm also trying to wrap up everything at my old job so I can go on to my new one without leaving a mess for my replacement. I simply don't have time anymore for the kind spirited internet debate that I used to enjoy.
Oh well.
BTW, it's a bloody shame that all the IRC Asatru channels seem to be dead. I really would have liked to talk to some Heathens tonight.
