Finally Really Restarting...Really
Yumpin' yiminy, it has been far too long since I've been able to really write here. Ergo, this is the official relaunch of my journal.
In the very nearly two years since I've been online regularly I've had a great deal happen. I've watched my son grow. I've moved twice. I've changed jobs. I had an extended period of soul-searching and religious exploration leading me finally back to Asatru. And I think, finally, I've found myself a little bit.
I've been going through old entries, both in this journal and my other couple of journals, and I've come to the conclusion that I've revised my thinking a great deal over the years. This is a good thing for me, but what it means is that I find any post in which I have expressed an opinion prior to about four months ago is probably suspect as best and only matches my current thinking about a third of the time.
We'll start with these things:
I'm going to attempt to post at least 100 words every day of my own thoughts and reactions to the universe and the wacky wights within. I'll try to be entertaining as a minimum, or at least not terribly dull.

- I'm married to a wonderful woman, and have a wonderful son.
- I'm Asatru. Odhin is my fulltrui. I'm starting a kindred very soon now.
- I work for a chemical distributor.I sell pest control products. I am only slightly morally conflicted about this.
- All things considered, I'd much rather write for a living. I'm exploring how I might accomplish that.
- I have some fairly unusual opinions about religion and magic for an Asatruar. I have thought deeply about these opinions. I might very well argue about some of them in the future.
- I fully expect that some Asatruar will not be pleased that I'm back. Which is too bad. For them.
