the poet at the noche de cultura was amazing.
i've missed doing cultural things while i've been here. i've been hanging out with angie a lot lately (and that's been wicked sweet! i miss not having her as a roomate...) we went to the poetry slam last night (ginger deserved to win, she was amazing as well!) it's been just nice to have my homework taken care of earlier in the day and be able to go out and take part in things at night. saturday night movie with my kids tomorrow. game in the morning. cheech's afterwards. i hope it's fun. my mood plummeted this evening. i've been hyper almost everynight this week (at least in an enjoyable mood...). shitty! concert in two wednesdays! haven't been to a true concert since i've been here either, i'm psyched. i just need to find someone to come along. mariko maybe!
