after four months of nothing...
I ran into Andrew twice today. TWICE!
The first time was just a passing in the ESy museum building with the dinosaurs that's attached to Physics, as Smables was leading me on a roundabout trip to the little cafe thing in there (even though we ended up at Sweet Dreams in the plaza and I got a massage and we ate dumplings and bubble tea). The second was after running to catch the iXpress, and I walked on to find a cowboy hat, and we were both sort of "[surprise]Hey!" and instead of doing what my mostly-introverted, avoidy-type self wanted (read: moving to the back of the bus), I plunked down in front of him and we chatted the whole way to McCormick. Fun stuff.
And now, to home to get Sarah and hopefully DINNERRRRR (I AM SO HUNGRY!)
[oh yeah - it amuses me how often I and the people around me are thinking of the same things:
Case 1
M>How are you?
R>I am soooo hungry.
M>Oh, me too. And tired.
R/M, at exactly the same time!> I don't sleep enough.
Case 2
R>*sits heavily in chair in RCH101* I love these chairs.
S>!! I was about to say how I hate these chairs!
Case 3
R>Oh yeah, and the bathroom over there is my new favourite bathroom because the stalls are BLUE RED AND YELLOW!
S>[something about just having used the bathroom on the other side and how it was all gross and ancient and grungy]
I think there was another case earlier today, like maybe in M239? Can't recall now. Plus, Smables and I, Sarah and I, Liz and I... I share a brain with the last two, and apparently telepathy frequently with Smables. And other people often enough, as well.
..I'm not sure if this implies that humans aren't diverse enough in their thinking, or that magick exists. Hmmm....
