Lightning doesn't strike umbrellas. ... Does it?

I thought lightning always strikes the tallest things, like trees or the mast of a ship.

But what if there aren't any trees around? What does it strike then?

Hmm... Well, if you're headed for the barracks, that means you have to walk through the village. Wouldn't lightning strike the houses near you?

I think that would be bad for the houses, though.

The lightning would strike them even if you weren't there, though. And if they break, the Malnosso would just fix them.
