Could I ask what it is the Blue Rogues do, exactly?

Originally, the Blue Rogues were started to keep villagers safe from the more dangerous people here, and in time even launch an attack against the Malnosso. We'd patrol the area and things like that. A lot's changed over the past two years and there's even more danger here, so the Blue Rogues' duties had to expand. Whenever there's something new to explore, we'll send out an organized party and in times of chaos, we'll team up with other groups like Brave Vesperia. As for taking down the Malnosso... [Pause.] Well, like I said, a lot's changed. We didn't know back then what we know now.

[outwalks]

I see. If you don't mind my asking, what's changed?

[winged_rogue]

For one, Luceti's bigger. Back when I first arrived, the barrier only covered the village, a part of the forest and the foot of the mountains. You could reach the edge within a day's walk. Now, it's grown at least three times as big, covering a big part of the desert outside the mountain range too. It's a lot tougher to keep watch over the place like this.

What we know about the Malnosso's changed, too. Two years ago, we thought the Malnosso were the ones who brought us here, for the sole purpose of their experiments. That's why we were so eager to take them down. Then we found out the Malnosso are just as much trapped here as the rest of us, and the reason they're experimenting on us is to try and find a way home.

[outwalks]

That would certainly make it harder to watch over. But do they really need to if it wasn't the Malnosso who brought us, then who was it?

[winged_rogue]

We're not entirely sure. It could be the world itself, or some other mysterious force we've yet to learn about.

[outwalks]

The world itself?? Thank you, Vyse.

Do you need anything to become part of the Blue Rogues? I'd like to join.

All I need is a name and any skills you might have that could help the Blue Rogues. I already have the name, so...

Well, I have experience in patrolling and fighting with my own weapons. And I suppose I'm very hard to disarm.
