(no subject)
The weather is beautiful! It's 60 out and breezy and the snow is melted and it's just...beautiful. Now...you know I love winter. But this is definately refreshing. Especially simply sitting outside and watching the clouds, and having my hair being blown around by the zephyr, and watching the two horses across the street pasture.
I still smell like outside. It smells good, and it reminds me of years ago. Two things come to my mind from this scent...this outside smell. One is Christiano....when he inspired me. I would go outside and sit, during those years. I'll call them the Chris years. And I would just, sit with my doggie Brandon (whom I miss very much, every day I think of him and miss him...=(...) and think and be philosophical and introspective. Those were the finding myself years. I'll never forget them because they shaped me to be who I am today.
The second memory is of childhood. It reminds me of when my cousins and I were still young, and we would go over to my grandparents' house and play outside all hours of the day.
It's just strange, because scent really is the strongest thing tied to memory...as the commercial says. =)
