There's a Japanese customer at my work who is heading back to Japan soon, so I gave him a gift of a pound of coffee and a mug that says 'coffee' in a bunch of different languages. (I am a broke Starbucks employee, give me a break.) He gave me a card that says 'arigatou' in hiragana and his name (also in hiragana, 'cause my kanji skills lose at life). I will sort of miss him, but only sort of, because we never really talked or anything.
Leaving for Cleveland tomorrow! Seriously, if I have to go somewhere in the fall/winter, why didn't I pick Flordia? Anyway, there's an event with the Japanese Culture Club where they are doing their annual sushi-making thinger, so I will try to make it there before it ends.
