I've wanted to run/be involved in some sort of anime/manga newsletter ever since Aunt Sandy got me a copy of one from the anime club at Princeton, which was when I was in... eighth or ninth grade? It was before I had seen Lain or Rurouni Kenshin, so that sounds about right. It had articles and fanfic and fanart and was all-around very neat.
So maybe I'll talk to the anime club about the possibility of having one? People could contribute, and the cost would be really cheap, since you'd just be paying for paper. Or it might fall under the budget. And I know the people running Japan Connection, so if I expanded the topic, they could help out as well. It could be a Japanese culture thing. Hey, this could really work! I should talk to Benson, or maybe start off idea-plotting with Chelsea and then talk to people. It would also look really good if I started something like this, although I'm kind of starting late in the year.
