that's when you st-st-stuttered something profound

I feel really better now! I've gone back to my favorite attitude of 'What happens, happens. Just go with the flow.' I really think I work best that way, since it means I don't stress over past mistakes or worry about future problems. It's really just best to live in the present. Thank you to everyone who's given me kind words on the subject.

I went to Arabica today with Quin to work on our Japanese, which sort of devolved into us working on our own and eating while I tried to figure out how to say 'My cat used to drown stuffed animals.' The verb for 'to drown' ends in ru, though, and I couldn't tell whether it was an u or ru verb (they're conjugated differently), so I changed it to 'My cat used to kill toys in water.' ('Watashi no neko wa mizu de omocha o koroshimashita.')

My not wanting to attend UT is 50% not wanting to go to school that close to home and 50% super annoyance at the ridiculous amount of school spirit and orange in the area.

Kimi wa Petto is so very excellent! I think you could make a really good GWing fusion with it. I might try that out, just for practice. I've been watching it with my friends. Charlie keeps saying how weird it is, but he really likes it too. And Quin and I are just thrilled with the idea of having MatsuJun for a pet. ♥

lightningwave suggested people who don't like cliffhangers hold off on the story for about ten chapters total so they can read the whole scary, gorey part of the arc at once and not get overly anxious about waiting for new parts. (She also thinks people will stop reading, but she's silly like that.) So, that's what I'm doing. I think she said the horribleness will end in chapter 70 (her numbering, which doesn't counter intermissions), so I'll pick back up on it then. But, I'm kind of really worried anyway!

EDIT: From an interview with Evanna Lynch, the girl who will be playing Luna in the next HP movie:

Interviewer: Would you encourage other girls to follow their dreams?
Evanna: *talks about it a little bit, then:* Why did you just say girls though? Boys can follow their dreams too.

From the interview she did, she looks like she's going to be a very excellent Luna. I'm very excited about getting to see her in the movie, she seems like she has exactly the right attitude.
