Putting a claim on something does not ensure that it is yours. If you really wish to own it you must put it physically under your control, and keep it there. Some may talk of morality, and others of religion, but give me a snug bit of property and I shall be happy enough.

I don't belong to anyone.

Of course you do not. It is impossible to truly own something which thinks for itself.

Though it is a bit depressing to be in a house where everyone is marked up but me.

Exactly. Though try telling the two werewolves back home that!

I would not only tell them but stomp on their elongated faces until they got the point.

Remember the parts car in my backyard?

My version of stomping. I'm a coyote. I can't take on a werewolf - especially not an Alpha.

Then give them to Uncle Robin and he shall take them all on at once with one hand tied behind his back. No-- one hand holding a champagne glass.

Uncle Robin? No, I don't think I can even imagine you as an uncle.

And I'd never put you up against two Alphas. I'm not that cruel.

Why not? Am I not charmingly eccentric and avuncular?

Not that cruel?

Sooooo not! I can't imagine any uncle looking at me the way you do!

You'd be taking on not just the two of them, but all of Adam's pack, and well, Samuel is the Marrock's eldest son so theoretically you could have all the werewolves in North America after you.

I'll just keep up my campaign of annoyance.

Or I will when I get home.

I look at you a certain way, do I?

That does not sound too badly. I think that I could take them all. They have not been a problem in the past, where I am from. Canine shishkebab.

You don't agree?

Ah, but then I'd probably be forced to avenge them and that would put such a crimp in our friendship.

I was just curious as to how you perceive it.

Revenge is something which I attempt to avoid these days, true enough. It is bad for my health and longevity.

How I perceive it...

Well, it's a rather carnal look.

Yes, let's skip all the revenge stuff.

Oh, good. For that was no doubt my intention, and I would expect there to be nothing ambiguous about it.

coyote_walking August 13 2009, 03:27:11 UTC
No, no ambiguity about that, Robin.

So... no need to go sharpie happy today?

No need ever. If I want something, I take it, and if I do not want others to have it, I hole it away. Anything else is foolishness.
