Second: From the man bites dog files -- A man who tried to shoot seven puppies was shot himself when one of the dogs put its paw on the revolver's trigger.

Third: Speaking of abusive bitches: Cheney said at a town hall meeting in Iowa, "It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on November 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."

"I'm having trouble running interference and doing my job -- Harris gave me a message today from Grp regarding Bush's OETR and Staudt is pushing to sugar coat it. Bush wasn't here during rating period and I don't have any comments from 187th in Alabama. I will not rate."
