My computer broke. It fucking blows.

I called the American support line and I talked to someone for 15 minutes. I couldn't understand most of what he was saying, so I gave up when I realized he couldn't really help me.

I called the Japanese support. I talked to the guy in Japanese, set up my information, and described my situation, then asked if someone could troubleshoot me in English. I was worried that if I misunderstood something, I'd make the problem worse. He just says to me 'Well...if I'd be good enough...' and switched right over to perfect English. We had not a single problem communicating, he went through the troubleshooting, and then told me he would need to check if they had the part in Japan.

Two days later I found out they didn't, I would have to send it to America.

I called again, and this time got a woman with slightly better English. Most things had to be said twice, but things got done. My warrantee was over by maybe a few days. Woo woo. She said that I would have to ship the computer to them from inside the US and also that they could only ship inside the US.

I understand if you can only SHIP to the US, but receiving from out of the country is bad? I don't get it. So now I've got to ship my computer to my house, have my mom ship it, wait for them to fix it and ship it back to my mom, then wait for my mom to ship it back.

I'm looking at a MINIMUM of 2 weeks, that's pretty much if I rush shipping everywhere. 3 weeks is slightly more likely and a month and a half is the most I'll wait.

In the meantime, I'm going to see if I can jump online at work sometimes and go to the nearby comic cafe for internet. It turns out this place is really nice, so that's cool. I can catch up with all my comics and play games too, so cool.

Blegh. I really wanted to update too, all those people I met in that bar a while ago I've met again. I'd like to do a 'Where are they now?' but my time is running out. See ya.
